Published Editions of PACJA

The Psychotherapy and Counselling Journal of Australia (PACJA) is an international, peer-reviewed journal which aims to contribute to the evidence-base for counselling and psychotherapy. PACJA publishes theoretical essays, experiential reports, and empirical studies featuring quantitative, qualitative, or mixed-method approaches. PACJA encourages practitioners, researchers, students and educators (even if you have never published before) to submit articles for publication. The process is intended to be supportive in order to mentor aspiring authors to contribute to the dissemination of research in the counselling and psychotherapy field.

PACJA is an open-source, on-line journal in order to promote wide access to quality research and scholarship in the counselling and psychotherapy field.

Volume 1, No 1

The first edition of PACJA was launched on October 2012 under the editorship of Acting Editor, Dr Sally Hunter. To see all articles in the inaugural edition of PACJA, go to First Edition.

Volume 2, No 1

After much work to secure suitable articles for the second edition of PACJA,  the second edition was published in July 2014, under the editorship of the appointed Editor, Petra Bueskens. To see all articles in the second edition of PACJA, go to Second Edition.

Volume 2, No 2
