Peer Review

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

PACJA aims to encourage scholarly writing and provide a supportive yet rigorous refereeing process that results in high quality research outcomes.

Why be a peer-reviewer for PACJA? Only a scholarly researcher or qualified and experienced practitioner has the expertise to review the research of others: by assisting in this process you are both contributing this expertise and maintaining appropriate standards of research quality in your own area of interest and related fields. Reviewing also helps to maintain your own knowledge of research developments, while enhancing your standing in the profession. It also helps in mentoring aspiring authors to contribute to the dissemination of research in these fields.

Register as a peer reviewer. If you research, are expert or practice in any area related to psychotherapy and counselling, you can register as a peer reviewer on the PACJA website by clicking on the ‘Peer Review’ tab or via this link http://pacja.org.au/?page_id=891 Alternatively, you are welcome to email the Editor of the Journal at editor@pacja.org.au Briefly outline your qualifications and experience and your areas of both broad and specialized interest. The Editor will acknowledge your email and then be in touch when relevant research is submitted and requires review.
